Blink

Hi friends! I'm Blink, the gentle giant of Speaking of Horses. Did you know I'm famous? I'm in the Upperville Horse Show Hall of Fame! I try to be humble about it, but sometimes I "accidentally" mention it when the other horses are bragging. "Oh, you got extra hay today? That's nice. I'm in the HALL OF FAME, but whatever..."
I'm the biggest horse at the farm, but I move veeeery slooooowly, like I'm walking through peanut butter. The therapists say it's calming. The truth? I'm just conserving energy for my true passion: standing perfectly still while being groomed for hours. It's my Olympic sport.
My favorite activity is pretending to be asleep during brushing while secretly enjoying every second. I've perfected the "I'm barely staying awake" ear droop that gets me extra brushing time. When kids arrive, my ears perk up so fast they make a "boing" sound only horses can hear.
One more secret: If you whisper compliments in my ears, I'll walk a tiny bit faster. Try "Blink, your mane is magnificently flowy today" and see what happens!
