Senior Sensory Specialist
*Veteran movement expert with 25 years of helping riders find their rhythm*

Howdy youngsters! I'm Phil, the oldest and wisest horse on the farm at 25 years young! That's about 137 in human years, but who's counting? (I am. I'm counting everything. It's what we seniors do.)
Before joining Speaking of Horses, I had quite the career. I was an eventing partner for a 70-year-old rider—we were the "experienced adventure team" of the circuit. Everyone underestimated us until we showed them what experience brings to the table! Then I taught riding lessons, where I perfected my "seriously, human?" side-eye for incorrect positioning.
Even though I'm a senior horse, I still have the energy of a teenager! Well, a teenager who needs a nap by 2 PM. My special bouncy walk has been described as "part horse, part pogo stick." It's not age—it's a therapeutic technique I've perfected over decades! At least, that's what I tell the younger horses.
In my free time, I enjoy telling long, rambling stories about "the good old days" when grass was greener and children were lighter. My favorite treats are peppermints, which I'll search your pockets for with the precision of a TSA agent. Don't even try hiding them—I have treat-detecting superpowers.
