Red
Fence-Side Friendship Ambassador
*Building connections one conversation at a time (from a respectful distance)*

Well, hello there! I'm Red, the therapy horse-in-training with an incredible comeback story. When I was 7 months old, I broke my leg. The doctors said, "That's a wrap on Red's career," but I said, "Hold my hay!" and made a full recovery. I'm basically the horse version of a superhero origin story.
For now, I'll meet you from across the fence where I've perfected the art of the "please come pet me" face. It's a carefully crafted expression that's one part "sad puppy eyes" and two parts "I'm the most interesting horse you'll ever meet." It works 100% of the time!
I considered my fence a "social distancing" tool before it was trendy. Children tell me their deepest secrets across this fence, probably because they know I can't follow them home and tell their friends.
Every day, I practice my therapy horse skills by watching the other horses and thinking, "I could do that, but with more style." When you visit, feel free to cheer me on with encouraging phrases like "You're doing amazing, Red!" or the ever-popular "I brought carrots!"
