Hi there! I'm Rex, the smallest AND most magnificent horse at Speaking of Horses! I'm not short—I'm travel-sized for your convenience!
I have my official Pet Partners Certification, which is basically like having a VIP pass to all the cool places the big horses can't go. Schools? I'm there! Birthday parties? I'm the real celebration! Nursing homes? I'm everybody's grandson with four legs!
My special talents include lying down on command (looking adorably dramatic while doing it), painting masterpieces with a brush in my mouth (move over, Picasso!), and convincing humans that I need "just one more treat" with my irresistible mini-horse eyes. My artwork has been described as "surprisingly not terrible for someone who holds brushes in their teeth."
The big horses pretend they don't take orders from me, but mysteriously, they always end up doing what I suggested. It's not the size of the horse in the leadership position—it's the size of the leadership in the mini-horse!
